We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Interior Design to join our team.
The Director of Interior Design will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of design excellence and executing complex interior design projects according to client specifications. You will collaborate with clients, manage project timelines, and work with the wider team to deliver exceptional spaces.
Summary of duties and responsibilities
* Develop initial ideas, gather key information about potential projects, discuss requirements, and set project schedules.
* Source products such as fittings, furniture, lighting, finishes, and decorations; provide samples for clients.
* Prepare detailed working drawings, designs, plans, models, and schemes using AutoCAD software.
* Manage projects, including overseeing full FF&E installations.
* Present designs internally and externally to clients.
* Identify new business opportunities and promote services to potential clients.
* Collaborate with the internal technical design team, project managers, and the commercial team.
* Contribute to our social media from a design perspective.
* Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar role within the super-prime residential market, with some construction knowledge.
