Job Description:
We are excited to be working in partnership with a well-established family run Hearing Specialist who have a fantastic full-time permanent opportunity to join their team in the Farnham Area. Our client is looking for someone who has branch managerial experience that can become a valuable member of the team!
The Role:
This role is essential to provide outstanding support to customers and patients’ while contributing to the efficiency of the stores. The ideal candidate will be GOC-registered and have experience in enhancing branch growth, staff retention and maintaining customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
* Reporting directly into the Area Manager with the goal of enhancing branch growth whilst maintaining staff and customer relationships
* Managing the customer relationships, ensuring customer levels of satisfaction remain at their targeted level
* Deliver business results by promoting strategies within branch to enhance performance
* Planning for the future. Setting and achieving realistic business goals by establishing priorities, actions and milestones
* Guiding your team, ensuring they remain motivated and continue to excel within their defined roles
Experience:
* Qualified Dispensing Optician
* Fully Registered with the GOC
* Experience as a dispensing optician essential
* Experience within a store manager role or similar desirable
* Knowledge of the Optical and Hearing industry
* Ability to interpret optical prescriptions written by optometrists or ophthalmologists
* A strong commitment to customer care and a customer-focused approach to work
* Excellent communication skills, to give clear advice to customers
* Empathy and understanding of patients' eye health needs
* Teamworking skills, and the ability to lead and motivate staff
* Attention to detail
Salary:
* £34,505 - £41,200 DOE
