The Nursery opened in Spring 2025 and is set in a 1930's villa in the centre of Storrington. The nursery benefits from a large outdoor garden, brand new resources and is lucky to offer Forest School and Beach school!
The opening hours of the nursery is 7:30am-6pm and you'll be expected to be flexible around those times and contracted to work around 40 hours per week or a 'Flexi Week' where you can work 36/40 hours over 4 days. They are looking to expand their team that is ran by hard working and dedicated management who foster a friendly and positive environment for the children and the staff. You must hold a level 3 in Childcare or Equivalent, this nursery is not currently recruiting for unqualified Early Years Educators.
Requirements:
The ideal Nursery Assistant will have;
You must be over the age of 18 years old
You must hold a Enhanced DBS check on the update service or willing to pay for one
Level 3 in Early Years Childcare or equivalent (essential)
Previous experience working in an Early Years setting
Knowledge of legislation relevant to Early Years such as EYFS, SEN and safeguarding.
The ability to build positive relationships with both staff and children
