The Role:
As the Deputy Nursery Manager, you'll be an integral part of our leadership team, working alongside the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth running of our nursery. Your role will cover a wide range of responsibilities, including:
Team Leadership:
Support the Nursery Manager in guiding and inspiring our dedicated team of educators, ensuring exceptional care and learning.
Day-to-Day Operations:
Assist with coordinating nursery routines, ensuring compliance with standards and maintaining outstanding provision.
Curriculum Support:
Help design and deliver a dynamic, creative curriculum that supports the individual progress of each child.
Family Engagement:
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, ensuring open and consistent communication about their child's experiences.
Safety & Standards:
Maintain a safe, well-maintained, and welcoming environment, following all health and safety guidelines.
About You:
We are seeking a Deputy Nursery Manager who is passionate about early years education and brings innovation, drive, and leadership to our setting. The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications:
A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent), with thorough knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Experience:
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an early years setting.
Team Leadership:
Strong organisational and leadership strengths, with the capacity to guide and empower a team.
People Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to connect with children, colleagues, and families.

A deep passion for early years and a commitment to excellence in education and care.
