We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive team. This is a great opportunity to help pupils develop key skills and achieve their full potential during their important Key Stage 2 years. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Support class teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2.
* Provide targeted support to individuals and small groups to help them progress in core subjects like English, maths, and reading.
* Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of learning materials, and displays.
* Help manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive, inclusive learning environment.
* Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities to ensure access for all learners.
* Supervise pupils during break times, trips, and other school activities as needed.
Ideal KS2 Teaching Assistant:
* Previous experience working with primary-aged children is desirable.
* A good understanding of the KS2 curriculum is an advantage.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills as a KS2 Teaching Assistant.
* A patient, encouraging, and proactive attitude.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
