We have an exciting opportunity for a Retail Marketing Manager to join the team at Vertu. We are offering a basic salary of £36,000, plus a company car and great company benefits.
Reporting into the Head of Retail Marketing, the role of the Retail Marketing Manager is to build awareness of Vertu and our dealership network, drive footfall to the dealerships, and increase traffic to the website. The role involves utilizing the full marketing mix to deliver marketing activities from brief to final delivery. This position suits someone passionate about delivering results.
We are looking for an exceptional communicator who can influence and translate opportunities into lead campaign activities. Experience in delivering marketing campaigns and strong commercial awareness are essential.
You will plan and execute retail activities aligned with manufacturer campaigns, brand activities, and events, ensuring all activities comply with FCA and manufacturer brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Planning and delivering campaigns for New, Commercial, Used, and Motability by franchise.
2. Ensuring smooth campaign delivery through excellent management.
3. Building relationships with manufacturer contacts and exploring collaborative opportunities.
4. Managing budgets and performance to achieve growth targets.
Main Tasks
1. Working with dealerships and the central marketing team to optimize local sponsorship, product placement, and show appearances.
2. Understanding the market, competitors, and consumers to improve marketing strategies.
3. Managing franchise budgets and providing performance insights and future recommendations.
4. Managing third-party activities such as advertising optimization and lead generation.
5. Collaborating with the Marketing Data Analyst to source and analyze sales and conversion data.
6. Organizing dealership retention events and creating assets for these events.
7. Managing local marketing activities, including POS, OOH, sponsorships, and working with the partnerships team on new opportunities.
8. Updating website content and ensuring offers are consistent with advertising.
9. Executing CRM communications as part of the retention strategy.
10. Briefing creative teams for regional media assets.
11. Representing the group at meetings such as divisional operations, dealership reviews, and manufacturer conferences.
Essential Criteria
* A degree is preferred but not essential.
* Driver's License.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
* Ability to integrate data and marketing strategies.
* Understanding of Google Analytics.
* Willingness to travel as required.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience with project management tools like Asana.
* Automotive marketing experience.
* CIM qualification.
