Job PurposeThis role is responsible for leading the management, analysis, and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in line with a large, contract-driven operational environment. The Performance Manager will streamline and formalise processes to improve workflow efficiency, ensure contractual and legal compliance, and support continuous improvement across quality, environmental, and health & safety standards.Working closely with senior managers, operational teams, and external stakeholders, the role plays a key part in ensuring performance data is accurate, meaningful, and clearly communicated.Key Accountabilities(Reporting to the Business Manager)KPI Management & ReportingAnalyse, manage, and report on KPIs using performance dashboardsProduce clear performance analysis, highlighting trends, risks, and improvement areasCollate and submit monthly, quarterly, annual, and business continuity reports in line with contractual requirementsProcess & Systems ImprovementImplement and maintain monitoring systems for performance targets through process mappingDevelop, formalise, and communicate new or improved operational processesSupport the introduction, monitoring, and review of new systems and toolsCompliance & AuditMaintain the Integrated Management System (IMS) through robust document controlCoordinate and support internal and external audit programmesEnsure operational compliance with legal obligations and contract requirementsManage and report non-compliance issues, including performance adjustments and financial penaltiesPerformance Strategy & Continuous ImprovementSupport the development and delivery of performance improvement strategiesCarry out root cause analysis and support corrective action plansDrive continuous improvement initiatives across the businessCommunication & EngagementCommunicate performance information clearly through reports, presentations, and training sessionsEngage positively with teams to support understanding of performance expectationsContribute to a collaborative and high-performing working environmentMeetings & Stakeholder EngagementAttend and facilitate performance and compliance meetingsAct as a key point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders on performance mattersSupport discussions relating to non-compliance and contractual performanceHealth & SafetyCompile, analyse, and report health & safety statistics and exposure dataOther DutiesCarry out any additional reasonable tasks as requested to support the needs of the businessEssential Skills & ExperienceProven experience in performance management, KPI analysis, and reporting within a complex operational environmentStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insightsExperience supporting audits, compliance, and risk management processesStrong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and VisioExperience using business intelligence tools such as Power BIAbility to implement and improve monitoring systems and processesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience preparing and delivering reports, presentations, and training sessionsStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesPersonal QualitiesHighly organised, proactive, and detail-focusedConfident working with senior stakeholders and external partnersComfortable leading or facilitating meetingsAble to work independently and collaborativelyProfessional, reliable, and trustworthyFlexible and committed to continuous improvement and developmentDesirable ExperienceExperience with performance dashboard systemsExposure to public sector, infrastructure, or contract-based environmentsExperience managing IMS systems and first, second, and third-party auditsFull UK driving licenceOffice Angels is an employment agency and business.
