We are currently looking for a meticulous, detail orientated lead housekeeper to join our friendly team, working at a beautiful house near Steyning. The ideal candidate will have experience working in private households, with excellent housekeeping skills, and a pleasant and positive attitude.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Meticulous cleaning of all areas
•Ensuring the house is immaculately presented and guest-ready at all times
•Managing household inventories and stock levels
•Ordering cleaning supplies, household items, and ensuring timely replenishment
• Cleaning of bathrooms, bedrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and some outdoor areas
•Making beds and changing bed linen
•Complete laundry management: collecting, sorting, washing, and ironing
•Polishing and caring for silver, antiques, and fine furniture
•Consistently deliver high standards of cleanliness, tidying and organisation
•Organising daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules (including deep cleans)
•Dusting and polishing fixtures and fittings
•Interior window cleaning
•Table setting and assisting with service for events
•Flower arranging

•Full UK driving license and own transport (due to rural location)

Work Pattern: 5 days a week with flexibility required to work weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis with time off given in lieu
Part time candidates able to work 2 or 3 days a week (and particularly over weekends) will also be considered.
Salary dependent on experience
