Your new company Hays are recruiting for this local contractor in their recruitment of an Estimator to join their Commercial Team. Established over 40 years ago, my client has undertaken, and successfully delivered, an impressive range of contracts across the UK. Operating with a turnover of over £30m, the company maintains a strong presence in the construction industry. With projects in the education, healthcare, commercial and residential sectors, they have been responsible for projects up to £10m in value. This contractor is experiencing significant growth and therefore is in search of an Estimator to join their team. Your new role Within your new role you will report directly to the Commercial Director and work closely with the Senior Quantity Surveyor. You will assist with analytical cost estimates and tenders, from receipt of enquiry to tender submission on a variety of large-scale build projects ranging up to £10m. You will be expected to manage projects efficiently and report price variations effectively. This is an office-based role so you will not be required to travel.
