Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) (Full-time, Temporary) Gateshead, NE11 £510 - £525 per week (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications) September 2025 – July 2026 The School and Role This two-form entry Primary School in Gateshead (NE11) is currently seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work on a full-time basis from September 2025. The successful HLTA will be working across classes from Reception to Year 6 at school, to provide PPA cover to teachers. There will also be elements of running interventions and providing general support. This is a ‘Good’ Primary school, where pupils feel supported and happy coming to school.
