Project Planner
6-Month Contract

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Planner to join a leading organisation delivering large-scale onshore renewable energy projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the delivery of projects that contribute to the transition to a net zero future.
The Role
As a Project Planner, you will provide planning and scheduling expertise across a portfolio of wind farm development and construction projects. Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will develop and manage detailed programmes to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 across the full project lifecycle
* Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to build realistic, logic-driven programmes
* Analyse critical paths, risks, and delays, supporting mitigation strategies to maintain project timelines
* Conduct delay analysis and assess the impact of change events, variations, and contractor claims
* Ensure compliance with NEC3/NEC4 contract requirements
* Produce clear planning reports and provide insights to support decision-making and project performance
What We're Looking For
Experience
* Proven experience in project planning and scheduling within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
* Experience in sectors such as renewable energy, power, utilities, or civil engineering is highly desirable
* Strong experience using Primavera P6 to develop and manage complex project schedules
* Experience working under NEC3 or NEC4 contracts, including delay analysis and change management
* Demonstrated experience supporting multidisciplinary project teams across full project lifecycles
Skills
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site execution
* Ability to analyse complex data and provide clear, actionable insights
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels
* Detail-oriented with a proactive and solution-focused approach
