Night Care Assistant at Guiseley Manor Care Centre
Join our team at Guiseley Manor Care Centre, a purpose-built 72-bed facility in West Yorkshire, Leeds, providing residential, nursing, and dementia care. We are committed to high standards of safety, comfort, and care, investing in the latest technology and offering a comprehensive program of activities to enhance residents' wellbeing. Our staff are carefully selected, fully trained, and paid above the national living wage.
We are seeking kind, caring, and compassionate Care Assistants to deliver quality care in line with individual Care Plans. Full-time contracts are available at £11.44 per hour, with shifts from 19:45 to 08:00, including alternate weekends.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Provide hands-on, person-centered care to residents.
2. Support residents in maintaining a good quality of life.
3. Model best practices in care delivery.
4. Assist residents with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs as per care plans.
5. Maintain accurate daily records of residents.
6. Work effectively within a team and complete delegated tasks efficiently.
7. Promote and safeguard the welfare of residents and others you interact with.
Skills and Experience Required:
1. Experience as a Care Assistant is preferable.
2. Care Certificate or willingness to achieve it within 12 months.
3. Knowledge of good care practices for older people.
4. Understanding of the 6 principles of care in residential/nursing settings.
5. Ability to work well in a team.
6. Self-motivated and confident.
