About the Role
ClearPort is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Developer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone looking with a strong understanding of business applications and developing robust software fit for multinational companies.
Knowledge of UK customs is, though desirable, not a barrier to fulfilling this role, as long as you have the ability and willingness to learn about a new and complex business domain.
You'll be the first point of contact for our clients—freight forwarders, logistics firms, and customs agents—who rely on our platform to interact with CDS, GVMS, NCTS, and Safety & Security systems.
Your mission is to ensure they get the most out of ClearPort's intuitive software and maintain smooth, compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Building enterprise-level software for Imports and Exports
* Provide expert support and guidance to our customers on using ClearPort's customs software
* Troubleshoot technical issues and escalate where necessary
* Collaborate with the product team to improve user experience based on feedback
* Maintain accurate records of support interactions and resolutions
* Stay up to date with UK customs regulations and system updates
