Role: 1:1 Learning Support Assistant
Location: Plymouth
Contract: Full time (opportunity to become permanent)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:30 - 15:00 (15:30 finish on Fridays)
Salary: £100 - £115 per day

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in helping individual students navigate their educational journey. Whether it’s in the classroom, through outdoor learning or during off-site activities, you’ll support not just academic development but emotional growth, communication and social skills.
Your role will include:
* Supporting a specific student on a one-to-one basis throughout the school day
* Adapting activities to suit individual learning needs and emotional development
* Helping to deliver a curriculum focused on engagement, creativity and real life learning
* Promoting a calm, structured and inclusive learning environment
* Working closely with teachers, therapists and other support staff
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience working with children or young people with additional needs (e.g. SEMH, autism, trauma-informed settings)
* Is confident, patient and committed to building positive, trusted relationships
* Has relevant experience working with children and young people, either in education, childcare, support work or sporting activities
* Has a valid DBS on the update service (or is happy to get one)
* Has a full UK driving licence and access to their own vehicle with business insurance (travel to off-site activities will be required)
