What You Will Be Doing
You’ll support the Associate Property Manager in delivering high‑quality property management services across a varied commercial portfolio. This is a hands‑on, client‑facing role where you’ll work closely with partners, colleagues, tenants, contractors and professional teams to ensure smooth, compliant and proactive management of assets.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing service charges, including budget preparation, monitoring and reconciliation in line with RICS guidelines.
* Working with facilities teams to review utilities and service contracts, ensuring consistency, value and sustainability.
* Supporting insurance notifications, claims processes and monthly expenditure forecasting.
* Ensuring properties meet the highest standards of compliance, health and safety and RICS best practice.
* Overseeing contractors, approving works and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
* Monitoring lease compliance, managing landlord approvals and supporting lease events such as rent reviews and renewals.
* Acting as a key point of contact for tenants, delivering excellent customer service and clear communication.
* Conducting regular property inspections and ensuring timely follow‑up actions.
* Maintaining accurate records in Propman/MRI and supporting client reporting, business plans and presentations.
* Managing debtor information and liaising with client accounts on rent collection.
* Supporting leasing activity for vacant units and managing enquiry schedules.
* Ensuring compliance with H&S, statutory requirements and client KPIs through systems such as Riskwise and ELOGS.
