About the role
Working Monday – Friday on a 37.5 hour contract, you will be responsible for:
Managing, leading, and motivating a team of Warehouse Operatives across various temperature-controlled environments.
Delivering clear and concise shift briefings to encourage effective two-way communication.
Planning and allocating labour and equipment to meet productivity targets within budget.
Ensuring all team members are fully trained in Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Systems of Work.
Maintaining accurate records of labour usage and warehouse KPIs.
Conducting investigations into accidents and near misses, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols.
Ensuring full adherence to food hygiene policies and the site HACCP plan.
About you
You will have previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics setting and the confidence to manage an experienced team across multiple chambers. With strong planning and delegation skills, you'll thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is essential, along with good working knowledge of Excel and Word. A solid understanding of the transport and warehouse process links will help you drive cross-departmental collaboration and meet business goals effectively.
