Job Description Year 2 Learning Support Assistant | Sutton Are you energetic, enthusiastic and confident working with young children? We are looking for a lively, proactive and quick-thinking Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil in Year 2 who is presenting traits of ADHD. You’ll be tasked with providing consistent reassurance, smooth transitions and helping the pupil to stay regulated during the day. You will also provide general support in class, helping to keep the busy classroom running smoothly, and supporting children with their learning and social development. This role will suit someone who is naturally upbeat, emotionally attuned and able to read the room in the moment. You must be able to switch tasks quickly, stay calm under pressure and bring warmth and humour into the classroom.
