More about the role
1. As part of the Sainsbury’s Tech Finance team, your role is to partner with the Director of Product, helping to influence and drive actions across Tech investments (both Capex and Opex).
2. You’ll collaborate across Commercial Finance to prepare business cases focusing on ROI, report benefits, challenge decisions, and help prioritize the portfolio.
3. This role requires delivering accurate analysis, but it’s more than just number-crunching. You’ll build strong relationships with your tech colleagues and translate financial data into commercial insights.
4. This is a high-profile role involving regular presentations to C-Suite stakeholders across business, tech, and finance teams.
More about you
1. You thrive in fast-paced, technological environments. Your experience in process and change management will help you manage pressure effectively.
2. You are a professionally qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) with impressive P&L experience, knowledge of investment appraisals, and an interest in Tech (Product / Agile methodologies). You have worked as a Finance Business Partner within a large, multi-function organization.
3. You are an effective communicator, influencer, and challenger, with the ability to proactively identify where your financial expertise can add value.
4. You can prioritize tasks, push back when necessary, and are enthusiastic about developing junior colleagues.
