TPF Recruitment, Kent’s leading accountancy practice recruitment agency is representing a Maidstone-based firm of chartered accountants who are searching for an Accounts Assistant/ Accounts Semi Senior to join their team as a key addition to their successful team. As you develop within this firm and role you will take on increasing responsibility in a hands-on role, delivering statutory accounts, management accounts, VAT, bookkeeping and tax services to a range of key clients within the firm. This is a great opportunity to complete your AAT qualification, if you’re still studying, and then move on to either the ACA or ACCA.
* Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies for Director review
* General bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns
* Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts
* Prepare Corporate and personal tax returns
Requirements
* AAT Qualified or studying ACA/ACCA, or qualified by experience
* Experience with a variety of accounting software
* Strong communicational/ relations skills
* 3+ years accountancy practice experience

* £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
