Our client is a long established European inbound tour operator handling overseas clients special interest travel plans in Europe the majority of the groups travel to France & the UK and come from the USA and Canada and Europe. They are looking to train a fluent French & English speaker to train as a Tour Operations Assistant to create and design interesting itineraries, research ideas, negotiate with suppliers (hotels, attractions, restaurants, venues, transport services) and operate the group tours.
As a Trainee Tour Operations Assistant, you must speak fluent French and English and have a desire to work in tourism. The Company handle a lovely range of tours, from sports, history, World War 1 & 2, garden tours, theatre and many other special interest tours. As a Trainee Tour Operations Assistant you will get all the support and training you need and the company would like to support your career progress with the company.
Their office is based in Tunbridge Wells and the team work 4 days in the office, one day from home.
As a Trainee Operations Assistant, a degree in tourism would be useful and some proven office administration experience.
