Overview
Communication Officer role at the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner, advertised via Suffolk Jobs Direct. Salary: £32,000 per annum. Hours: 37 per week. Contract: Permanent. Location: Martlesham Heath, Ipswich, Suffolk IP5 3QS. Reference: 0365.
Responsibilities
* Support the Head of Communications and Engagement in engaging with the public, including managing correspondence and online activity, including the website and social media.
* Work closely with the wider team to provide general administrative support and help ensure the office runs efficiently.
* Be involved in a range of activities to support the team and make a positive difference to the communities served.
Qualifications
* Good eye for detail, excellent organisational and written skills, and the ability to make decisions.
* Experience with websites and social media is advantageous.
