What You Will Enjoy Doing
* As Business Development Manager for Chemicals & Refrigerants, you will be responsible for delivering new business growth by proactively securing targeted new business and converting Competitor opportunities by showcasing BOC’s comprehensive Chemicals and Refrigerants product portfolio
* You will deliver against ambitious targets by cultivating a strong sales pipeline and consistently meeting new business goals in the Chemicals and Refrigerants sector
* Partnering with Product Managers, you will collaborate to create and implement innovative strategies aimed at attracting prospect customers, leveraging expert sales training to communicate BOC’s unique value proposition
* You will identify and capitalize on market trends and competitor activities by taking ownership of lead generation through networking, both internally and externally, while supporting impactful sales campaigns in close collaboration with Sales Enablement and marketing teams
* This role requires you to develop your technical and application knowledge of the Chemicals and Refrigerants industries, to deliver expert, tailored solutions for customers in sectors like Heat Treatment and Refrigerant contractors
* You will establish and maintain valuable connections at all levels within prospect organizations while creating a robust internal network across BOC’s teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer success
What Makes You Great
* A Bachelors Degree or equivalent is essential for this role
* You will bring a minimum of 5 years Industry experience, ideally within the Chemicals, Refrigerants, or related sectors, with advanced negotiation skills and a track record of delivering profitable outcomes in competitive markets
* A strong communicator, you excel in building impactful working relationships internally and externally at all levels, networking and influencing to drive alignment for success
* This role requires strong decision-making capability, innovative problem-solving skills with a focus on creative solutions, along with strong financial acumen to make data-driven decisions that maximize revenue, efficiency, and performance
* You will quickly develop technical concepts to differentiate BOC’s technical Sales and Service offerings while creating and implementing detailed business development plans tailored to market needs
* You thrive working in a fast-paced environment, bringing a tenacious, self-motivated, and positive mindset to overcome challenges, manage change effectively, and drive results during uncertainty
* You have experience of working in an inclusive workplace and act as a role model for the behaviours aligned to this
