Responsibilities

Plan and deliver high:quality, challenging lessons across your subject specialism (Years 7:11).

Prepare pupils for external examinations and GCSEs while maintaining a focus on their emotional wellbeing.
*
Create an inclusive learning environment that caters to a wide range of abilities and diverse learning needs.
*
Implement effective classroom management strategies that foster mutual respect and a focused learning atmosphere.
*
Use data:driven insights to identify learning gaps and provide targeted interventions.
*
Lead and inspire classroom support staff to ensure every student receives the help they need.
*
Engage in the wider life of the school, including departmental meetings and extra:curricular clubs.
Essential Requirements
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
*
Proven experience teaching within a Secondary school setting.
*
Strong subject knowledge across your specific discipline (Maths, Science, English, Humanities, etc.).
*
Ability to use Assessment for Learning to drive student outcomes at KS3 and KS4.
*
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
