Responsibilities
As a Maintenance/Service Engineer based in Livingston you’ll be responsible for:
* Servicing and calibrating equipment for our own hire fleet and customer‑owned equipment, including carrying out services at customer premises where relevant.
* Competently carrying out technical demonstrations on the company’s full range of hire products.
* Supplying regional support on the specialist range of equipment that is operated from the central support facility at the HQ in Chesterfield.
* Providing telephone technical support both internally and externally.
* Delivering first‑class customer support, including attending breakdowns, providing onsite technical support and training, carrying out site audits and providing feedback to customers and supervisors.
Qualifications
* A proven mechanical engineering/mechanics background.
* Electrical, hydraulic and component fault‑finding background/experience.
* Flexible disposition.
* Aptitude to learn quickly.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
Application
