Job title – Deputy Nursery Manager\nLocation – Pinner, Middlesex\nSalary – £38,000 - £42,000 per annum\nDuration – Perm/Full-time\nSector – Education\nAn independent day nursery located in a quiet residential street in Pinner, Middlesex is seeking a dynamic, supernumerary Deputy Nursery Manager to join its expanding team. The nursery has a capacity of approximately 100 children ranging from babies to five years old and achieved a "GOOD" rating from its most recent OFSTED inspection in 2022.\nAlong with a salary of up to £42,000 per annum, you will also receive a range of benefits including service recognition rewards, a pension scheme, season ticket loans, a pay and reward scheme, learning and development opportunities, an employee assistance programme, free daily breakfast and refreshments and individual Christmas and birthday presents.\nAs an office-based Deputy Nursery Manager, your duties will include:\n * Promoting high standards of quality within the nursery and the environment\n * Ensuring that resources and experiences offers to children are in line with the company's ethos and approach to Early Years Education\n * Ensuring that practice and provision meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage\n * Ensuring that children are kept safe, and that staff understand and follow Safeguarding procedures\n * Assisting with the effective day-to-day management of the nursery\n * Maintaining effective methods of communication with children, staff, parents & carers\n * Developing positive working relationships with staff\n * Responsible for ensuring compliance in respect of suitably trained staff with relevant First Aid qualifications\nWe are looking for a Deputy Nursery Manager who has the following skills and experience:\n * Previous experience in a similar role or an experienced Room Leader looking to step up.\n * Minimum NVQ level 3 qualification or equivalent.\n * Excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.\n * Excellent knowledge of OFSTED standards.\n * Excellent knowledge of the EYFS curriculum.\n * Good time management skills.\n * Excellent communication skills.\n * Strong people management skills.\nTo apply for this role as Deputy Nursery Manager, please click apply online and upload an updated copy of your CV
