We balance and integrate work and life seamlessly, show up authentically, welcome everyone, so there is a strong sense of belonging. —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Key Responsibilities Account Ownership - Own and lead the commercial relationships with key accounts including Tesco, Sainsbury's and Asda. - Build deep, trusted relationships with buyers and key contacts at each retailer, understanding their priorities and positioning Bold Bean Co as a strategic partner. - Lead all meetings, reviews, and day-to-day account interactions with support and strategic input from the Commercial Lead. Joint Business Planning & Commercial Strategy - Develop and deliver annual business plans for each account, setting clear revenue targets, promotional plans, and winning new distribution aligned to the bold bean co commercial strategy - Identify growth opportunities across ranging, distribution, space, and activation - Work with the Category team to present compelling category and sales growth plans, building Bold Bean Co as category leaders. Understand the role of both Category and Sales and how the two collaborate to optimise growth plans together. - Manage and optimise promotional plans, trade terms, and investment across all your accounts to drive profitable growth. NPD & Range Development - Work with the Category and Commercial team to build compelling sell-in presentations for new product development and existing product development launches. - Support range reviews with strong category data, shopper insight, and a clear sales narrative - Track and manage NPD performance post-launch, identifying opportunities to accelerate distribution and drive rate of sale. Forecasting & Supply Collaboration - Own the sales forecast for your four accounts: building accurate, insight-led forecasts that support great availability and OTIF performance. - Work closely with our Supply Chain team to ensure seamless stock management, particularly around promotions and new launches. - Proactively analyse orders and stock levels to identify risk and opportunity, and act on both quickly. Performance & Reporting - Track and report account performance against revenue, distribution, and promotional targets bringing clear data, insight and action to monthly pulse meetings reviews. - Use data platforms (E.g. Sainsbury’s Insights Platform, Asda Quantum, Ocado Beet, Dunnhumby, Neilson IQ) to pull performance updates. Team & Leadership - Collaborate closely with the commercial team including the Head of Category - sharing insight, coordinating plans, and operating as one commercial team. - Work closely with the marketing team to ensure we have mega, industry leading, on brand launches for any new supermarket listing or new product ranging —————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— About You We're looking for someone who has great commercial FMCG grocery account management experience but is ready for a step up into a fast-growing business with real scope for internal development. Specifically: Strong UK grocery NAM: experience you've owned one or more of the major multiples (Tesco, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Asda) and know how to grow these businesses, navigate the relationship, and build long term plans. JBP experience: you've built and delivered joint business plans and understand what a great deal looks like, and importantly what it takes to land these with the biggest retailers. Strategic and commercially sharp: y ou see the bigger picture and love shaping strategy that drives real impact, and you bring a sharp commercial lens to everything you do and you're comfortable with margin, making the most impactful commercial investments, and the mechanics of a P&L. Data-driven: you're at home in retailer portals and syndicated data (NIQ, Dunnhumby). You pull the data, find the story, and use it to win the argument. A brilliant relationship builder: you genuinely enjoy building long-term internal and external relationships and bring credibility and energy to every meeting. You use your network to learn more, and go for advice on new problems. Entrepreneurial: you thrive in a growing, fast-moving environment.
