The role
As a Business Support Administrator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Your contribution will help ensure operations run efficiently, data is accurate, and teams have the administrative support they need to deliver highly important outcomes. This role offers excellent exposure to a global engineering organisation and provides strong foundations for long‑term career development within the defence and engineering sector.
Day‑to‑day you’ll be required to:
* Process vehicle inwards and decommissioned vehicles, produce dispatch notes, logbooks and register vehicles with the DVLA
* Maintain accurate records through data entry, invoice preparation and asset management, including IT equipment returns
* Support operational teams through meeting room coordination, post handling, pool car bookings, greeting and managing visitors.
* Manage administrative activities such as staff holiday tracking and internal documentation
* Engage with internal and external stakeholders, from shop‑floor teams to senior leadership
Essential experience of the Business Support Administrator
* Experience working within a fast‑paced administrative or business support function
* Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise effectively
* Strong attention to detail with a proactive, “completer‑finisher” approachIntermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including formulas and pivot tablesClear and confident written and verbal communication skills

Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
