Job ID: 10415928 | Amazon UK Services Ltd.
Amazon is always looking for opportunities to empower our selling partners with the latest technology so we can improve choice and reduce costs for our customers. One way we do that is through our CF Flex network that sets up Amazon Fulfillment processes in Vendors/3PLs’ warehouses, giving them more capacity for storing and shipping items to customers as quickly as possible. The CF Flex team is looking for a Logistics Assistant physically assigned in the Rothley area, 23km from FC BHX2 (Leicester).
Key responsibilities
* Responsible for the successful and continuous running of Amazon’s operations processes and the participation in the coordination and further development of all processes in the CF Flex area within the framework of Amazon-Vendor/3PL partnership.
* Track vital operations processes within the warehouse, ensuring no defects. Those processes include, but are not limited to, the Receive, Stow, Pick, Pack, Shipping & Transportation, Quality, Stock Integrity and Transfers processes.
* Direct contact with representatives of our Vendors/3PLs and with Amazon support functions of different teams including but not limited to WHS, Retail, Transportation, IT and Business Development.
* Own the monitoring of and progression towards key performance indicators in line with CF Flex’s overarching goals.
* Provide CF Flex network support, such as warehouse coverage, launches, closures, relocations and conversions, and run continuous improvement initiatives and new projects.
A day in the life
As a Logistics Assistant, you will act as a local representative for Amazon, communicating with external (Vendors and 3PLs) and internal stakeholders (senior management and other departments, including but not limited to WHS, Retail, Transportation, IT and Business Development) on a daily basis. You will be knowledgeable in day‑to‑day business tasks of a Logistics Assistant, act as a role model for Amazon, and demonstrate commitment, reliability, health and safety best practice, as well as high quality in deliverables.
Communication skills are crucial; you will be onsite supported by remote teamwork/management and may need to travel to other CF Flex locations for support.
