The Role
As a ServiceNow Solution Architect & PreSales Lead, you will lead technical sales pursuits and drive ServiceNow platform adoption. This role is the primary solution architect throughout the sales cycle, articulating the value of ServiceNow solutions to prospective customers and ensuring alignment of client objectives with ServiceNow capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead discovery sessions, understand customer requirements, define scope, design scalable solutions, and create implementation roadmaps on the ServiceNow platform.
* Support sales pipeline & lifecycle by leading RFPs, building proposals, contributing to RFP/RFI responses, estimating effort & pricing, and drafting statements of work.
* Develop and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations of ServiceNow solutions, articulating value as per customer needs.
* Track opportunities, updates, and closures to drive revenue growth.
* Support partner engagement, account mapping, and identify cross/upsell opportunities.
* Design technical solutions, develop PoC / PoV leveraging ServiceNow, GenAI capabilities, and integrate with third-party technologies & monitoring tools.
* Advise customers on best practices related to instance strategy, architecture, governance, data, and integrations.
* Collaborate with diverse teams and customers to improve product adoption, increase footprint, and guide project teams onsite/offshore.
* Develop strategies to maximize ServiceNow investment & license usage.
* Provide technical consultation on critical issues, platform questions, and improvement opportunities.
* Participate in industry events to build market presence and generate leads.
Your Profile:
Essential knowledge/experience:
* Experience in IT Infrastructure/Apps, including architecture, bid management, and pre-sales support.
* Experience in technical consulting, sales cycles as a solution architect, presales, and professional services.
* Experience with multiple ServiceNow implementations, migrations, upgrades, and understanding of ITSM processes.
* Hands-on experience with ServiceNow product suites (ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, Now Assist, etc.) and third-party integrations.
* Knowledge of CMDB design, architecture, MID Server, Discovery, Service Mapping, ATF.
* Relevant ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, Master Architect, or Technical Architect).
* Experience collaborating with dispersed teams, requirements management, agile practices, and client relationship management.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
* Experience in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance is advantageous.
* Expertise in data centers, storage, hosting, and technical architecture.
* Knowledge of industry trends, opportunities, and threats.
* Experience with GenAI, predictive analytics, and automation workflows.
* Familiarity with NLP frameworks and LLM fine-tuning techniques.
* ITIL and/or AI/ML certifications (AWS, Google Cloud).
* Experience with scripting web services, Java, and CMDB or asset integrations.
* Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, LDAP.
* ServiceNow developer certifications in various modules.
* Exposure to HRSD, IRM, CSM, FSM, GRC, mobile solutions, analytics, and industry-specific solutions.
* Knowledge of web technologies and cloud architecture principles.
* Experience in custom application development and Service Portal design.
* Up-to-date knowledge of ServiceNow features and best practices.
