My client is a leading civil engineering main contractor working across highways, structures, water and energy sector civils projects, ranging in value from £1m to £15m. Due securing places on several high value civils frameworks, they are increasing their work winning team with a Bid Writer.
As a Bid Writer you will be responsible to lead the coordination and preparation of high-quality PQQ and tender submissions.
The role ensures tenders are well planned, compliant, persuasive and submitted on time, while supporting the Preconstruction team in managing multiple short-duration tenders efficiently.
My client is looking for someone who is confident assistant and writing Bids in the construction sector. The Bid writer or Bid Co-ordinator candidate should ideally have a minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in the bidding writing process. The team is looking for someone with excellent IT skills, an eye for detail and the ability to make a difference from Day 1.
The successful Bid Writer will play a vital role in ensuring that we continue to produce the best possible bids, learning from each submission so that we can continuously develop and improve.
As a Bid Writer or Bid Co-ordinator you have the following skills.
• Good organisational skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Good standard of English
• Creative writer
