Lead QA Engineer | Cypress & Node.js | Building the Analytics Engine for Global Credit Investors
The Role
In this role, you will act as the senior quality voice across a fast-scaling analytics platform used by institutional credit investors worldwide. You’ll own the end-to-end testing strategy, shape QA standards across multiple engineering teams, and ensure quality is embedded into every stage of delivery.
You’ll work in a heavily automated environment, collaborating closely with engineers, data specialists, and product to improve both internal platforms and customer-facing tools. While you won’t carry a formal “manager” title, you will operate as the de facto QA lead — setting direction, influencing best practice, and raising the quality bar across the organisation.
This is a hands-on role with genuine scope to shape how QA operates in a business automating complex credit workflows at scale.
What They’re Looking For (Non-Negotiables)
* 10+ years QA / Test Engineering experience
* End-to-end node testing
* Agile delivery experience in modern engineering teams
* Automation-first mindset with deep hands-on capability
* Experience operating as a senior or lead QA figure across multiple teams
* Confidence coordinating testing activity and advocating for quality at an organisational level
