A leading London law firm with a well-established financial services practice is looking to recruit an FS Reg associate to join its growing team. The group is recognised for advising a sophisticated client base across asset management, funds and the broader financial institutions market, with a strong reputation for technically complex and commercially focused regulatory work.
The team advises institutional asset managers, private equity and credit fund managers, hedge funds and other regulated financial institutions on a broad range of UK and European financial regulation matters. Associates are given early responsibility, direct client exposure and the opportunity to work closely with partners on both advisory and transactional matters.
The role will involve advising on a broad spectrum of regulatory issues, including MiFID II, AIFMD and MAR, together with wider governance and compliance matters affecting regulated firms. The successful candidate will support corporate and banking transactions through regulatory due diligence exercises and reviewing transactional documentation including SPAs and banking-related agreements.
Candidates should have up to 3 years' PQE gained within a strong FS Reg practice. The firm is seeking individuals with excellent academics, strong technical drafting skills and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.
