Overview
As our new Shop Supervisor in Hersham, you will assist and support the Shop Manager to run the shop and contribute to the work we do across Sue Ryder. You will have retail experience with the commercial awareness to deliver sales, a positive attitude, good judgement, and proven team leadership skills to help lead a large team of volunteers. It is essential that you enjoy engaging with people, have a positive can-do attitude, and a good understanding of financial and IT administration.
We understand our people are our most important asset and work hard to make sure you feel valued and included as part of a team. In retail most work every weekend, managers largely work only 1 in 2 weekends. The earliest start is 8:45am and the latest finish is typically 5:15pm in most shops. We have Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day off. Our shops offer a range of quality items including donated ladieswear, menswear, children’s clothes, shoes and accessories, bric-a-brac, books, and electricals. We are a friendly team waiting to serve you and help with whatever you are looking for.
