YOUR ROLE
As a Manager within the Finance & Enterprise Value practice, you will have substantial expertise in Finance Transformation Consulting and will also work flexibly across the wider Enterprise Model & Strategy portfolio.
* Delivery & Stakeholder Management: Accountability for delivering strategic transformation projects, leading large and complex initiatives, and building trusted relationships with senior client executives.
* Practice Development: Provide leadership for assigned offerings, including the development and evolution of playbooks and toolkits to strengthen market position and thought leadership.
* People: Coach, develop, and performance‑manage team members, supporting consultant career progression and fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.
* Business Development: Support the growth of the Finance & Enterprise Value practice and the wider Enterprise Model & Strategy team through recruitment support, commercialisation of solutions, and achievement of sales objectives (target £0.5 m).
* Internal Contribution: Contribute to internal initiatives such as campaign development, think‑tanks, white papers, practice development, operations, recruitment, and team events.
* Learning & Development: Participate in training, certifications, and other learning activities to support personal career development and address skill demand within the company.
YOUR PROFILE
To succeed in the role you will bring the following experience and qualities:
* Consulting & Leadership Experience:
o Proven ability to build and lead teams, mobilisation and project leadership, performance improvement techniques and finance value chain with experience in at least two core processes (O2C, P2P, R2R, FP&A, T2F, Treasury) and/or cost performance programmes.
o Experience in at least one of the target industries: Public Sector, Energy Transition & Utilities, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Automotive & Life Sciences, or Technology, Media, Telecoms & Services.
* Solution Development, Delivery & Stakeholder Management:
o Collaborative problem‑solving using a fact‑based approach, leading and planning execution of workstreams aligned with proven methodology.
o Strong relationships with senior management level executives and experience in hybrid delivery of complex improvement or transformation projects.
o Experience working with finance teams in large, complex or international organisations, familiar with modern finance organisational principles.
* Business Development:
o Ability to sell additional resources, shape winning deals and actively develop strategic accounts within a chosen industry sector.
o Experience leading commercialisation and growth of assigned solutions or offerings and working to a formal sales target.
* People:
o Experience building and managing teams to mobilise and manage multiple projects and workstreams.
o Track record of supporting high‑performing teams, coaching talent and fostering a culture of growth and inclusion.
* Credibility as a Finance Professional:
o Fully qualified UK Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with strong technical grounding and ability to translate strategy into actionable solutions.
* Desirable Skills:
o Experience working on solutions that successfully utilise Artificial Intelligence.
* Flexibility to work across multiple locations and be open to travel or relocation as required by assignment needs.
