Pay: £90-£101 per day (PAYE)

A friendly and inclusive primary school in Islington is seeking a compassionate and skilled KS2 SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team. You will play a key role in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and make meaningful progress.

Key Responsibilities
Provide effective 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with a range of SEND needs.
Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver IEPs and tailored interventions.
Adapt resources and modify activities to ensure lessons are accessible and engaging.
Promote positive behaviour, independence, and emotional wellbeing.
Support pupils with communication, regulation, sensory needs, and social skills development.
Contribute to creating an inclusive, nurturing, and structured learning environment.
Track pupil progress and share observations with teaching staff and parents where appropriate.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, ideally within SEND or KS2 settings.
Strong understanding of autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, or other learning difficulties.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential.
