School Help / Out of School Practitioner – Chelmsford (Temp, ASAP Start)
Role Details:
* Start date: ASAP
* Duration: Temporary, ongoing
* Location: Chelmsford
* Hours: Up to 27.5 hrs/week, split across two shifts: 7:00–9:00am & 2:45–6:30pm
* Pay: £14.50 per hour (PAYE)
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the update service or issued within the last 10 months
* Experience working with children preferred
* Passion for supporting and working with children
* Relevant childcare qualification or experience is desirable
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely escort children to and from school
* Plan and deliver activities, supervise play, and support children in the playground
* Prepare and serve meals; maintain cleanliness (“clean as you go”)
* Follow safeguarding procedures and promote children’s wellbeing
* Create a stimulating, safe, and caring environment tailored to children’s interests and needs
