Roles and responsibilities:
1.To develop Purchasing strategies for your category area
1. communicate and seek agreement from your internal customers on the strategy;
2. modify any Purchasing contracts in line with internal customer feedback;
3. implement the agreed Purchasing contracts;
4. Manage the acceptance of organisational wide agreements in your category area.
5. To build a network within your category:
6. identify key users within departments;
7. benchmark activities within your category;
8. identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities both internally and externally..To identify and report on all Value For Money activities.
