NMB supplies high-precision components to major aerospace customers worldwide, with its Lincoln facility playing a key role in supporting critical manufacturing operations. The Stores team is essential in ensuring materials flow efficiently through production, supporting On Time In Full (OTIF) delivery performance across the business.
This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in maintaining high standards of organisation, accuracy, and reliability.
Key Duties of the Warehouse Operative
Stores & Material Handling
* Supporting the efficient running of Production Stores and WIP (Work In Progress) Stores
* Picking, moving, and issuing materials to support production requirements
* Ensuring stock is stored accurately, safely, and efficiently
* Maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting stock control processes
* Assisting with general stores duties and supporting the wider operations team where required
Production Support & Teamwork
* Working closely with colleagues to support On Time In Full (OTIF) production targets
* Supporting material flow across multiple stores areas
* Maintaining strong communication with production and operations teams
* Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment
Housekeeping & Continuous Improvement
* Maintaining excellent housekeeping and 5S standards within stores areas
* Following health & safety procedures and company processes
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the department
What We’re Looking For
Essential
* A reliable, hardworking, and proactive approach to work
* Ability to adapt and work across multiple stores areas
* Comfortable working within a small, close-knit team
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* A willingness to support production operations wherever required
Desirable
* Previous stores, warehouse, or materials handling experience
* Forklift licence (training may be provided for the right candidate)
