Job Title: FLT Driver
Hours of Work: 07:00 - 15:30, Monday - Friday
Salary: £12.81 per hour
Responsibilities
* Safely operate a forklift truck to move timber, pallets, and packaging materials on site
* Load and unload vehicles and kilns (if required)
* Perform daily pre-use checks and report any faults or defects
* Ensure materials are available to support production flow
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures and site guidelines
* Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe working environment
* Represent the company professionally with internal and external stakeholders
* Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and wear PPE at all times
* Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues as needed
What We’re Looking For
* Current counterbalance FLT licence or site-specific counterbalance qualification
* A proactive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to Health & Safety
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards
* Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or manufacturing environment is advantageous
