Due to the expansion of our business, we have an exciting opportunity for a talented Chef Manager with experience in care to join our vibrant team in the Watford area.

Your new role:
You will be working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, with the availability to work evenings and weekends as required.
As a Signature Dining Chef Manger, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate your passion and creativity. As leader of your own team, you will have the opportunity to take responsibility, and to expand and develop your role.
Responsibilities:
* Lead your catering team in providing a cooked from fresh daily food offer for residents and patients
* oversee all aspects of kitchen management, daily due diligence and staff management
* Effectively manage the catering budget
* Prepare meals to the highest possible standards, using fresh ingredients, and presented with love and care.
* Provide daily breakfast, lunch, and evening meals.
* Keep up to date with the menus and what food is on offer.
* Ensure that COSHH, food safety, and health and safety legislation are followed.
As our Head Chef You Will...
* Previous experience in a care setting is essential for this role
* Be experienced, creative, and passionate about cooking with fresh produce.
* Have proven experience of working in a care or healthcare setting
* Be an effective leader of people
* Have proven experience of managing budgets
* Be flexible and adaptable
* be able to commit to working 40 hours per week
* Possess excellent culinary skills and be up to date with current food trends.
* Be comfortable engaging with vulnerable adults and their relatives.
* Have excellent communication and people skills.
* Hold a City & Guilds 706/1, 706/2 or equivalent.
* Have completed Health & Safety and Food Safety Training to level 3
