Lead Camps Coach
Hours: 8:30am - 4:30pm or 9:30am - 5:30pm
Salary: £15.20 per hour
Travel Expenses: 30p per mile after the first 35 miles per day

About The R66T Academy
The R66T Academy provides playing and coaching opportunities for young people aged 11 to 17 across the country. As part of this programme, we partner with summer holiday camp providers in delivering cricket specific summer camps and residentials.
Role - Lead Camps Coach
We are seeking a professional, organised and skilled cricket coach to oversee the delivery, safety and quality of cricket coaching delivered as part of wider residential camps. The Lead Camps Coach will be responsible for leading the smooth daily operation of the coaching, staff management, safeguarding standards, high quality cricket sessions and ensuring exceptional experiences for children. You will report to the General Manager of the R66T Academy.
Key Responsibilities
* Co-ordinate with residential staff on timetable and session management both pre-camp and during camp.
* Manage session set up, group allocation, coaching staff and session timings.
* Supervise daytime breaks and lunchtime.
* Deliver fun, progressive and technically strong cricket sessions aligned with the curriculum.
* Mentor and support other coaches and assistant coaches
* Take responsibility for the safety and wellbeing of all children on the camp
* Ensure a clean, safe and well organised camp environment
* Act as the main point of contact for Head Office and Residential Provider.
* Report hazards or incidents promptly and professionally.
* Support reflective practice and encourage goal-setting within the camp
* Complete all necessary paperwork, including registers, incident/accident forms, daily checklists and pre session checks.
* Pack away all equipment safely.
* Ensure coaching session logs are completed and submitted.
* Lead end of day/camp staff debriefs.
* Prepare equipment, session materials and plans for the next day/camp.
What we’re looking for
Essential
* Valid enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
* Strong safeguarding and health and safety knowledge
* Experience in leading group coaching
* ECB Level 2 cricket qualification or significant experience
Desirable
* Excellent technical cricket knowledge
* Experience managing a staff team
* Previous lead coaching role experience
* Holiday camp experience
