This job would be covering sites at Royal Hampshire County hospital in Winchester and Andover War Manorial Hospital.

Main duties of the job
We undertake a wide variety of CT imaging examinations to complement these specialities including body imaging, and CT colonography. We also perform a wide range of cardiac, vascular, oncological, MSK, trauma and neurological studies.

Training and Qualifications
Essential criteria:
1. BSc Diagnostic Radiography of equivalent
2. HCPC registration
Desirable criteria
3. IV cannulation/ drug administration
4. Post graduate training
5. Knowledge and experience
Essential criteria
6. NHS radiographic experience
7. Evidence of mandatory training
8. Sound clinical knowledge,
9. Knowledge of IR(ME)R
10. CT Canon experience

Essential criteria
11. BSc or equivalent in Radiography
12. HCPC Registration
13. IV training and compentence
Desirable criteria
14. RPS training
15. Post graduate training in CT
16. Post graduate training in Leadership/Management
Experience & Knowledge
Essential criteria
17. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development
18. Able to demonstrate extensive clinical experience and knowledge of a wide range of CT scans.
19. Detailed understanding of radiation protection, associated regulations and application in practice
20. Effective IT skills
21. Experience with PACS and RIS
22. Understanding of patient safety
Desirable criteria
23. Previous experience working in the NHS
24. Previous supervisory experience
25. Experience in Interventional CT procedures
Skills & Ability
Essential criteria
26. Evidence of CT imaging skills
27. Excellent verbal and written communication skills – must be able to effectively communicate with colleagues, medical staff, patients and relatives
28. Ability to undertake all aspects of imaging in area of speciality.
29. Evidence of good organisational skills and can manage time effectively
30. Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
31. Ability to work autonomously
32. Effective leadership skills with the ability to supervise a team, undertake appraisals and train radiographers and students
33. Acceptance of responsibility.
34. Able to manage resources effectively.

36. Ability to safely use a wide range of moving and handling equipment as provided by the Trust
