Reward and Benefits Specialist (Fixed Term – until September 2026)

We’re looking for an experienced Reward and Benefits Specialist to join our Total Reward team at SNG (Sovereign Network Group). The role is based at our Basingstoke office with a hybrid schedule of two days in office per week.


The Role

Reporting to the Head of Total Reward, you’ll support the delivery of day‑to‑day reward activities and contribute to reward‑related change projects, working with Reward Business Partners, Specialists, Analysts and Coordinators.

* Assisting in the delivery of the annual reward cycle and change projects (pay, allowances, pension, benefits, recognition, bonus).
* Conducting internal and external reward research and data analysis, including benchmark studies and presenting insights.
* Delivering communications plans, creating and delivering content both virtually and face‑to‑face, working with the internal communications team.
* Continuously developing and improving pay, benefits and recognition processes using data analysis and employee feedback.
* Providing guidance, training and support to managers and employees on reward policies and how to maximise the value of the total reward package.
* Assisting in managing and developing role profiles, undertaking job evaluations and mapping roles into grading and job‑family frameworks.


What We’re Looking For

* Experience in a similar rewards and benefits role.
* Strong analytical and data modelling skills, with advanced Excel expertise.
* Familiarity with compensation surveys and salary benchmarking.
* Strong organisational skills, ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
* High attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
* Experience of using a variety of HR systems.
* Experience with analytical job evaluation systems and methodologies is desirable.
* Working knowledge of Willis Towers Watson, Global Grading and Compensation software is an advantage but not essential.
