Job Title: Specification Sales Manager Lighting Switch & Socket

Area to be covered: London & South East
£5,500 car allowance or salary sacrifice EV & comprehensive benefits
The role of the Specification Sales Manager Lighting Switch & Socket will involve:
Field sales role promoting a manufactured range of lighting switch, socket and building controls
Specification role, 70-80% A&D architect and interior designer led (winning and breaking competitor project specifications)
Remainder of time managing relationships with lighting designers, main contractors, M&E consultants and M&E contractors
Targeting projects with high end residential, hospitality, commercial and heritage buildings
Year one target of £750,000 specifications written, £1m year two
Typically specification sales managers should have a pipeline of £3m-£4m over a 12-18 month period, with a view to converting circa 30%
Due to our clients name and reputation to the market, this is predominantly an account development position
Replying to RFQs
Supported by technical and product development teams
Solving design, functionality and cost-related challenges
Conduct presentations/ provide technical support
The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Lighting Switch & Socket with:
Must have A&D architect and interior design project specification field sales experience
Open to all interior/ fit out product backgrounds
Preferably with a network of contacts within the A&Darchitect and interior design community
Specific knowledge of lighting switch, socket and building controls is not essential as full product training will be provided
High end residential, hospitality, commercial and heritage buildings sector experience may be advantageous
