HGV Technician - Swindon
We are currently seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our client’s team at their Swindon head office. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled motor trade professionals looking to advance their career within a reputable, family-run Commercial Vehicle Dealership group. The successful HGV Technician will work primarily on late or night shift patterns, with a highly competitive salary package and excellent benefits.

Duties of this HGV Technician role:
* Conducting high-quality service and maintenance work on HGVs, adhering to manufacturer time schedules
* Diagnosing and repairing vehicle malfunctions efficiently and accurately
* Supporting colleagues with technical issues and providing innovative solutions
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant policies, health & safety regulations
* Documenting diagnosis outcomes, repairs, servicing, and safety inspections
* Supporting the workshop team to achieve operational targets and maintain high standards of customer service
Requirements:
* IMI/NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is highly preferred
* Several years of relevant experience as an HGV Technician
* Enthusiastic, committed, and able to work effectively within a busy workshop environment
* A good team player with a strong focus on quality workmanship
* Motivated to meet team targets and deliver excellent customer satisfaction
* An active HGV driving licence is advantageous but not essential
* Willingness to participate in optional roadside recovery/call-out rota and overtime opportunities
