Overview
An Insolvency Administrator is sought to join a well-established firm on a permanent basis. You’ll support senior staff through a variety of corporate and personal insolvency caseloads and also manage your own portfolio of smaller cases.
Responsibilities
* Asset Recovery: Handle the collection and realisation of assets such as book debts, property, and bank funds.
* Creditor Engagement: Process creditor claims and respond to related queries.
* Bank Coordination: Request and review bank statements and balances.
* Employee Support: Draft initial communications, assess employee claims, and liaise with the Redundancy Payments Service and pension providers.
* HMRC Submissions: Prepare and file necessary statutory returns.
* Stakeholder Communication: Respond to phone and email enquiries from various parties.
* Team Collaboration: Assist with general administrative tasks across the insolvency department.
Qualifications / Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in an insolvency role is preferred
* The ability to manage multiple responsibilities at once
* A proactive individual who is capable of meeting deadlines
* Strong administrative and organisational abilities
* Comfortable using Microsoft Office
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
