Role Summary
The Cloud Engineer (Associate) provides real-time monitoring, triage, and operational support for a High Performance Computing (HPC) environment. The role focuses on identifying trends, responding to anomalies, and supporting secure, reliable Azure-based services while maintaining strong customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
* Monitor Grafana dashboards, identifying trends and responding to anomalies in real time
* Triage and manage Incidents and Service Requests in line with operational processes
* Perform Azure IAM management and investigations using Log Analytics and KQL
* Monitor and report on security events using Azure Sentinel
* Support infrastructure and configuration management activities, including Terraform
* Maintain Technical Service Guides and operational documentation
* Work as part of a strong technical team, supporting customer relationships and escalating concerns through the appropriate channels
* Must be eligible for, or have active, SC
* Hands-on experience operating within Microsoft Azure environments
* Understanding of DevOps principles, preferably including Terraform
* Strong attention to detail with an inquisitive, analytical mindset
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in a customer-facing environment
* Willingness to ask questions, seek clarity, and build and share technical understanding
* Understanding of DevOps pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices
