Principal Scientist/ Technical Lead – NW/ North Wales– Diagnostics
About the Company:
We are looking for a highly experienced immunoassay scientist with the ability to work autonomously in a lead position at a company in the Northwest/ North Wales area. This is a site-based role.
Responsibilities:
* Act as immunoassay, cell culture and antibody subject matter expert.
* Lead the optimisation of manufacturing processes.
* Act as innovation and new technology champion.
* Lead root cause investigations and CAPA.
* Support audits.
* Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, GMP and other requirements.
* Drive continuous improvement.
* Work closely with cross functional teams.
* Mentor, train and develop staff.
Requirements:
* Degree in Biochemistry or related.
* Expert on immunoassays.
* Significant experience in diagnostics, biotechnology or biopharmaceutical manufacturing technical support.
* Experience working in a lead role within cross functional team.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience with SAP and LIMS.
* Experience in continuous improvement.
