An opportunity to join one of the UK’s most successful start-ups in scientific instrumentation and analytics from the last few years. Due to the huge success of our Consumables business, they are looking for a Graduate Lab Technician/Production Operative to join their Consumables team. This role would suit an individual who would like to gain experience in a Lab environment. Set up, monitor and maintain machines/equipment.
Perform Quality Control operations, including taking measurements using Mass Photometers, recording data and goods-in inspections and procedures, adhering to strict Quality Control protocols
Reporting quality issues to the Quality team and assisting with associated issue resolution
Perform repetitive associated production tasks, including kitting, packing, labelling, preparation and shipping
GCSE/A/AS Level in Science
A degree in science-based subject would be advantageous
Experience in scientific laboratory, manufacturing clean room or hi-tech manufacturing and process environments
Experience working alone and as part of a team to deliver against production targets
Use of standard software packages such as Windows systems, MS Word, Excel
Ability to work alone and as part of a team
