Anderson Knight are delighted to be recruiting a driven and energetic Sales Parts Advisor for a fantastic client in Glasgow.

This is far more than a delivery role it’s a dynamic, customer-facing position where you’ll play a key part in driving parts sales, building strong relationships, and keeping our customers moving. From managing stock and supporting engineers to spotting new sales opportunities, no two days will be the same.

This field-based role covers Glasgow and the surrounding areas, so you’ll need to enjoy being out and about, meeting customers, and taking ownership of your territory. The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, with occasional overtime depending on business needs.

What you’ll be doing

Driving Customer Relationships & Sales

* Build and strengthen relationships with both new and existing customers, becoming a trusted point of contact

* Proactively engage with customers to identify needs and maximise sales opportunities

* Handle enquiries and resolve issues quickly, always delivering a high standard of service

Parts Delivery & Stock Control

* Ensure timely and efficient delivery of parts to customers and field engineers

* Take ownership of stock management, keeping engineer vans and parts containers fully replenished and organised

Using Data to Drive Performance

* Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activity, and customer demands

* Analyse sales data and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement

* Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and inventory levels

* Produce regular reports to support smarter decision-making and stronger sales performance

What we’re looking for

* Experience within the parts industry

* A self-motivated individual who thrives working independently in a field-based role

* A positive, proactive attitude with a strong focus on results

* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport and long-term relationships

* Confidence in upselling and identifying new business opportunities

* Strong problem-solving and complaint-handling abilities

* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

* Solid organisational skills, with the ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
